Somerville Primary School
School starts at 8:55am for all children
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 finish the school day at 3:15pm
Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 finish at 3:20pm
CHANGE TO THE SCHOOL DAY FROM SEPTEMBER 2023
In order to meet the requirements of the Department of Education (32.5 hours school per week), Somerville Primary School will be making a small change to the length of the school day in September 2023.
From September 2023:
Reception and Key Stage 1 8:50am-3:20pm (gates will open 10 mins before the official start of the school day at 8:40am)
Key Stage 2 8:55am-3:25pm (children will be able to enter the school site 10 minutes before the official start time at 8:45am)
Somerville Nursery School
Morning sessions 9:00am- 12pm
Afternoon sessions 12:30pm- 3:30pm
Full day provisions (for children aged 3 and over accessing 30 hour provision or who have accessed extra sessions) 9:00am-3:30pm
