Welcome to Cherry class!
Welcome back to school - hopefully you have all had good break over the summer. We are keen to get things off to a good start and look forward to the year ahead.

Reminders
Please ensure your child brings a water bottle to school every day.
Please label ALL clothing and belongings.
Please ensure you put sun cream on your children on sunny days.
Physical Education (PE)
Cherry class will be doing outdoor PE on Mondays and Tuesdays so please send your child into school on these days wearing the correct PE kit please.
PE Kit
- Plain white t-shirt
- Navy, black or grey leggings or jogging bottoms
- Navy sweatshirt
- Sensible trainers (or plimsoles to be kept in school for indoor PE)
- Navy, black or grey shorts for indoor PE
Reading
Please listen to your child read out loud and record this in their diary at least three times a week. Please discuss any vocabulary that they are not sure of.
Spelling Shed and TT Rockstars
In due course, we will be sending passwords out for TT Rockstars and Spelling Shed, and we would ask that your child accesses these web sites at least three times a week.
Any problems, you can catch me most afternoons on the yard when we dismiss the children.
