Safeguarding
At Somerville Federation we take safeguarding very seriously. It is our view that we at Somerville Federation are a community with a responsiblity to look after one another. Everyone has a part to play in keeping our children safe and our approach is to ensure that everyone who is involved at either of our schools knows how to follow good practice, remain vigilant and report any concerns that they may have.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mr Dickson who is supported by Mrs Booth at the Nursery School and Mrs Parry & Miss Crampton at the Primary School. We also have a protecting every child team which is made up of members of the Executive Team (Assistant Headteachers and SENDCO) who are also safeguarding trained and able to support as members of our safeguraing team. Mrs Lesley Andrews is the Nominated Governor for Safeguarding.
