Dear Parents and Carers
I promised you on Friday that I would keep you updated on the progress of our next phase of reopening to more children. This letter is to keep you updated until further information becomes available.
At present there is no further update on the R rate in the North West from Public Health England. However whilst we await this information from PHE, I have two meetings over the next two days, the first on Thursday with Jane Harvey, Consultant in Public Health at Wirral Council and then on Friday morning with other Headteachers from Wallasey. Following these two meetings and hopefully receiving further updates from Public Health England we will be able to update you further on our plans for our next phase of wider opening.
I realise this is a stressful time for your family and your child and I thank you for your continued patience. Rest assured that the next phase of our plans for wider reopening will only be put into place when the governing body and I feel that it is safe to do so.
